A seating maker that grew up in chair country
Anji County, Zhejiang, makes a large share of the world's seating. We are one of the larger integrated makers on that map — design, foam, frames, sewing and assembly on one site.
Chairmeng sits in the Yangguang Industrial Park in Anji's Dipu town. The business began as a furniture maker and was reorganised as Zhejiang Chairmeng Technologies in 2018. We'll be straight about the founding date: the county registry and our own older export site don't agree on the year, so we don't put a single number on it — call it over two decades of building seating.
The plant runs to more than 100,000 square metres, split across a bar-stool and chair shop, a sofa and leisure-chair shop, and an office-chair shop. Keeping all three under one roof only makes sense because the hard parts — cutting foam, sewing covers, welding steel — are shared. The large majority of what we build is exported, mostly into Europe and the Americas.
How we talk about quality
We run ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) management systems, and we build to BIFMA and EN seating patterns. What we won't do is wave around "certified to" claims we can't put a report behind — if your programme needs third-party testing, we arrange it and you get the document.
Anji is full of factories that can make a chair. The ones buyers stay with are the ones that tell them the truth about lead time and spec. That's the part we work on.

Send the spec — we'll quote the real thing
Line, models, quantities and your market in a few lines. If a job sits outside what we run well, we'll say so rather than burn your sampling budget.
